About the Role

The QC Incoming Unit Head will be responsible for implementing quality control procedures and managing the budget in alignment with operational strategies. This role ensures the quality of raw materials and packaging materials from arrival to storage, in compliance with quality standards such as ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO 9001, Halal, and SNI. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in quality assurance and leadership experience in managing teams within manufacturing or FMCG environments.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the implementation of QC Incoming procedures in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee quality inspection and analysis of raw materials and packaging materials upon arrival and during storage.
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems including ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO 9001, Halal, and SNI.
  • Monitor and evaluate analytical results to anticipate and prevent potential quality degradation.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and Supplier Quality teams in handling complaints, conducting quality evaluations, and performing supplier assessments.
  • Collaborate with Logistics and Warehouse teams to ensure proper fumigation processes and the application of FIFO principles in material management.
  • Develop and manage the unit’s operational budget effectively, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality standards.
  • Drive a high-performance culture by coaching, developing, and motivating team members to achieve quality excellence.
  • Prepare and develop future leadership talent within the QC Incoming team.
  • Ensure continuous improvement initiatives are implemented to enhance process reliability and product safety.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and quality management systems (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO 9001, Halal, SNI).
  • Proven experience in managing QC Incoming operations and ensuring material quality from suppliers.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership and team development capabilities, with experience in performance coaching.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in using quality management systems (QMS) and analytical tools.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal.
