About the Role

The PID Product Specialist will be responsible for evaluating, improving, and developing both existing and new products—covering formulation, cost structure (HPP), and production processes. This role provides analytical feedback, efficiency recommendations, and quality enhancement proposals to ensure the company’s product portfolio remains competitive and compliant. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and able to collaborate effectively across departments and with suppliers to support regulatory requirements, raw material procurement, and business targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of existing and new product formulations, cost efficiency (HPP), and production processes.
• Identify opportunities for product improvement, reformulation, and innovation to meet quality standards and market needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Marketing) to ensure alignment of product strategies with business goals.
• Provide analytical insights and technical feedback to optimize product performance and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and timely procurement of raw materials.
• Monitor and assess product quality, ensuring continuous improvement initiatives are implemented effectively.
• Support the preparation of technical documentation and regulatory submissions related to product development and improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and raw material innovations to enhance product competitiveness.
• Contribute to achieving business and operational targets through effective project management and collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in product development, formulation, or product improvement—preferably within FMCG or manufacturing industries.
• Proven experience in product cost analysis (HPP) and process optimization.
• Strong understanding of raw materials, formulation techniques, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and product registration processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities across cross-functional teams and external partners.
• High attention to detail and results-oriented mindset.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
